DEATH IN A METAMODERN SENSE
We all live by dying.
Mortality is a deep root for all faiths. What are its shapes, textures and flavors when viewed through the lens of metamodern spirituality? Do we know how to grieve? How do we stand before the afterlife & its absence? Is Spirit available to us through infinite beliefs or via the experience of finitude? What can thanatos teach us about eros? How do we become better friends with Death while also getting better at preserving and valuing Life?
These are some of the questions flowing into the Metamodern Spirituality Lab this Autumn. The weekend of October 9-11th (or the week of 6-11th depending on how deep you need to get) you are invited to join us for place, work, inner exercise, community, ritual, magic, theory, serious play and intersubjective inquiry into the Mortido.
